Humanities Grants
Humanities Grants foster collaborative learning through public programs that involve humanities experts and feature a strong discussion component. Examples of humanities projects include discussion groups exploring books or films, workshops, walking tours, panel discussions, exhibitions with interpretive programs, and craft demonstrations integrating conversations about the craft. Humanities Grants are available to arts organizations, history groups, public libraries and other nonprofits in Pennsylvania working on projects that explore the human experience.

Humanities-and-the-Arts Grants
The Humanities-and-the-Arts Grants has been integrated into PHC's primary grant program. Public programs combining the arts and humanities are now supported by PHC's Humanities Grants.

Arts Commentary Awards
Arts Commentary Awards support high-quality, nonfiction work which educates the broad general public about the contemporary arts.

Projects of Special Interest
Consider producing a project which responds to Our Stories, Our Future, PHC's initiative exploring the American experience, or a book discussion program.
